Trekker’s Assistance Insurance

Trekking insurance is personal accident insurance modified for trekking. Personal Accident Cover is 24 hours during the Trekking Period. Death or Permanent Total/Partial Disablement caused by High Altitude Sickness, Snow Blindness, Frostbite and Death/Injury due to Blizzard are considered to be an accident and are included in Personal Accident cover.

It can be extended to cover:

• Medical Expenses
• Search & Rescue

Exclusions: 

• Self-inflicted injury or illness.
• Medical Expenses incurred beyond 12 months.
• War & Civil War, Government acts.
• Flying as a pilot or other crew member.
• Effect or influence (temporary or otherwise) of alcohol or drugs.
• Venereal disease, AIDS, or AIDS related complex.
•  Whilst racing on wheels or horseback.
•  Whilst playing Polo, Hunting, Pig Sticking, Big Game Shooting, Paper Chasing on horseback.
• Committing any breach of law with criminal intent.
• Any injury or illness related to Pregnancy.
• Consequential loss of any nature.
• Person below 16 years or above 60 years. etc.
