Applicable Laws & Actions:
It is mandatory to fill up proposal and KYC forms properly with attachment of Photos and copy of citizenship or passport for all types of insurance
If all the required documents are complete by consumer; we verify it and we can issue policy with an hour otherwise in one working day.
As per directive of Beema Samitee for property, vehicle, marine, travel medical insurance, agriculture & micro insurance; further for other insurance as per rate estimated by underwriting and re insurance department including stamp duty and value added tax(VAT).
Renewal notice is sent to the concern one month prior before the policy is expired.
Where to Claim:
Claim intimation should be done via mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or can be informed by telephone numbers 4246101/4246102 of Head Office. Either the claim should be intimated in respective branches of Shikhar Insurance Company Limited. The branch network including mail ID and contact numbers are uploaded in our website.
Claim Procedure & time taken
Once the intimation is complete the following steps will be carried out by claim department for claim settlement.
The claim should be settled within 15 days once receiving the surveyor report and other necessary documents.
